So we're just about mid-way through the first month of the New Year. How are you doing? The fast pace of the holiday season comes to an abrupt halt, leaving many feelings that range from exhilaration to depression.I personally find this the most important time to create a sense of balanced awareness.
What is balanced awareness you may ask...... to me its being in sync to relationship with yourself and others. In other words open communication, and acceptance of a person regardless of differences you may have. Listen and learning, remembering there are two sides to every coin and every story.
Of course there is no set in stone way to create this balanced awareness, but I’d like to share a couple of beneficial yoga asanas (postures) I incorporate in to my daily yoga practice when I'm in need of balanced awareness.
I hope you find them useful to begin a home practice or incorporate them into your current practice.
